About This Site
Hey there, welcome to Matthew Coughlin's website. I built my site to just mess with web design around and have fun. I agree with Mike Davidson and feel that everyone involved with design should have his or her own web site, even if it is a single page with just your résumé or your portfolio, . This site is basically a learning and testing pad for all my design and multimedia. Right now, this site consists of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Action Script, Lingo, PHP, and many varieties of Video.
Lately, I have gotten behind (way behind) on keeping my site updated with fresh content. I am working right now to add some of my latest works to my portfolio section. Please stay tuned and be patient. I am even considering a whole entire site redesign right now, but I will hold off on any promises with that one. For now, I am working on some new CSS styles to shake things up a bit.
About Matthew Coughlin
I am currently the Multimedia Integration Specialist at the Levin Papantonio Law Firm in Pensacola, FL. I consider myself a New Media Designer by today's standards in art and design. When we think of media, we think of communication. I work with many different mediums, whether it be video, print, web, or interactivity to best communicate a message.
I decided to go back to school after beginning my professional career to polish up on a few things, and pick up a couple new trades to put in my pocket. I accomplished this by going to Full Sail in Winter Park, Fl to obtain a degree in Digital Media .

You will probably see from most of my work that I enjoy sports. I am a huge sports fan, especially baseball. Sports use to be what motivated me to do my work. Now, it is my son, Zachary, and newborn daughter, Madison. They inspire me to be creative and have fun. Life is about having fun, enjoy it!
